BoxKitchen, the modular kitchen infrastructure venture founded by Boxpark's Roger Wade, has made a significant board-level appointment, bringing in Graham Corfield, former chief executive of Just Eat UK & Ireland, as a non-executive director.
The move signals growing confidence in BoxKitchen's position within the rapidly evolving hospitality and dark kitchen landscape, as the company prepares to roll out its first units and establish a nationwide footprint across major event hubs and hospitality destinations.
Corfield brings substantial executive and board-level experience in high-growth, consumer-facing businesses. His tenure at Just Eat UK & Ireland — leading the brand through a period of significant development and transformation, this makes him a natural fit for a business operating at the intersection of food, logistics and flexible infrastructure.
According to BoxKitchen, Corfield's expertise in scaling operations, commercial strategy and governance will be central to the company's next phase of growth, as it cements its place in the hospitality and events sector.
