From VIP to Jungle Stage: BoxKitchen at Vegan Camp Out 2026
Vegan Camp Out has become one of the UK's most-loved plant-based festivals, and this year BoxKitchen units were right at the heart of it, keeping thousands of festival-goers fed and watered across the site.

Good weather, great vibes
The festival itself couldn't have gone much better. Lovely weather all weekend, minimal disruption, and a crowd that clearly came ready to enjoy themselves. Musically, JME brought the energy with a standout set, and Liu Saunders had the crowd laughing with a comedy set that was one of the highlights of the weekend off the main stages.
We deployed three fully fitted-out bar units across the festival, each positioned to serve a different crowd:
- VIP area — cocktails, cider, beer and soft drinks for guests relaxing away from the main crowds
- Jungle Stage — a high-tempo bar built to keep pace with one of the festival's busiest stages
- Main food court — the central hub, pouring drinks alongside the food market all weekend
Each unit ran non-stop across the festival, handling everything from quiet afternoon lulls to full-tilt evening rushes without a hitch.
A Streetfood units that never slowed down
Alongside the bars, our streetfood units hosted some brilliant vendors serving up plant-based food to match the festival's ethos:
- Giuseppe's Tiramisu — coffee-soaked biscuit tiramisu in cups, served fresh throughout the day
- Gozai — Japanese soul food, from crispy gyoza to iced matcha
- MOCK — plant-based comfort food built for a festival crowd
Queues were constant but the units kept up, proof that a well-designed container kitchen can handle sustained festival volume without buckling under pressure.
"Shout out to the amazing operators at the event - Ethnic and the lovely founders, incredible team to work with."
Built for festivals like this
Vegan Camp Out is exactly the kind of event our units are designed for: high footfall, unpredictable weather, and operators who need equipment that just works. Three bars and a full food market later, it's another weekend that shows what BoxKitchen units can handle when the pressure's on.
